that has alot to do with it i mean every trance dj now has his own radio show and week after week they are exposeing all the new hot tracks
in 99 there was maybe a live recording from a big dj maybe once every month and the id's took longer to find
today it gets a lil boring i will admit to hear the same bunch of songs over and over the past few weeks/months on live sets and then when you go and see the dj live you already know what to expect
but dont get me wrong there is probly a huge bunch of trance that is still underground which is not on the dj's radio shows so you just gotta look around sometimes and not worry about asot or any other radio show
alot of house/techno dj's alot of them dont have their own shows and plus alot of those dj's play longer sets the majority of the time not the 2 hour set so they play a more varity of music not just the same songs over and over
so basically what it all comes down to kind of is that the internet kind of killed the trance scene but at the same time made it how big it is today
i dunno thats just how i see it
