That is exactly what I want to do! But I still don't know Cubase well enough to do that.


About the bassline. After doing it, i realized it was similar to another track, and I thought that maybe I should change it more. But with the millions of psytrance tracks out there, there will always be a similar sounding bassline out there, so I decided to keep it. I decided to keep it not because it may be "popular sounding", but just cause it sounds great.

@ Vortex_SA, I've heard a lot of psytrance in my life (its all I listen to / spin), but I've never heard more than one track with a similar bassline as mine. So I was kinda surprised when you said it sounded "old". Nonetheless, I appreciate your honesty

Here is how you filter your entire mix.

Just bounce out four bar phrase or two maybe... Then bring that back in to cubase. Treat it like it's a sample. You can filter the whole mix easy that way.

I know how to apply filter, but I don't know how to progressivly apply filtering over a span of 4 bars for example.
