You feel free to keep going. I'm sure you're absolutely loving yourself right now.

As I said before, people like you are a dime a dozen, and I'm sure the amount of self-importance you feel from the time you spend on here is the hallmark of your life.

I'm sure that's very, very satisfying for you. Ride that wave as far as you can, it's going to take you a long ways.

Back on topic - this is hereby marked a required mix, along with the sole other few I can count on one hand.

Yes, required. You. Now.

Wow, so insightful. Really just a deep thought, that.

We can all learn a lot from Pickles.

...

Very nice "I came into your thread as a troll but I'm going to try and not ruin it completely" post. How painfully predictable.

You're so dense, Robert. I'm merely mimicing you.

Please. Just stop. Peel yourself away from the screen and get your hand out of the can of salted cashews. Take off your bifocals. Shift the nads. Rub your eyes. Stand up. Now go out outside and get some fresh air. Relax. Then throw yourself under that passing 18 wheeler.

Or keep on. Whatever. It's all good, just keepin' Mag's fabulous mix forever on page one.

*repeat

OH! Thats one of my all-time favourite tracks ever. Its so beautiful, isnt it! S.O.S. Foundation - Dream I love the vocals ... just beautiful house music.

Due to amazing feedback, I promise to make another Canadian House mix in the future.

Oh lawdy, you've really done it now. This is the stuff. So languid. God.

You've always had exceptional taste. I know you have all those rare Detroit gems, too. Don't hold back on me.

Just amazing selection. You've given this forum a facelift.

Yes, my mixing is a bit weak in places - Danube track really killed it, but I couldn't match the same quality of mix when I tried recording it the second time. Mixing is very hard for me, I have huge difficulties. But the main point - I wanted to bring out the most beautiful music that has been almost forgotten, the golden gems.

I am glad you enjoyed it. Let me know which specific transitions were of the most concern (the ones that didnt sound good). I'll take recommendations.

Thanks for all the feedback and keep it coming!

The mix into "Summer of 87" was beatmatched fine, and phrased alright, but for some reason I just didn't like the way it flowed from the kind of flighty house numbers into the old school sounding Chicago house tunes. I also kind of felt like the flow out of that tune was a bit disjointed - so I guess maybe more from a programming than mixing standpoint. Maybe I could just have done without "Summer of 87" all together, though I really like it.

I will say, however, that the mix at ~36:00/37:00 (or just thereafter) is mega - really an awesome way to swap up the flow, totally sold me from the moment I heard it.

Anyway, I'm still really just floored by the first 4 tunes. Like a lot of the rest, and it sounds solid and reminds me a lot of my first kind of listening to house music, but the beginning is really something that captures the "timeless" sound I've heard in a few of the nostalgia/tribute sets lately.

Wasn't too shabby at all. I wasn't the biggest fan of the vocal tracks, but overall the set was neat. I wasn't too aware of the Canadian house scene so thanks for enlightening me.
