Mixing is very hard for me, I have huge difficulties. But the main point - I wanted to bring out the most beautiful music that has been almost forgotten, the golden gems.
I am glad you enjoyed it. Let me know which specific transitions were of the most concern (the ones that didnt sound good). I'll take recommendations.

The mix into "Summer of 87" was beatmatched fine, and phrased alright, but for some reason I just didn't like the way it flowed from the kind of flighty house numbers into the old school sounding Chicago house tunes. I also kind of felt like the flow out of that tune was a bit disjointed - so I guess maybe more from a programming than mixing standpoint. Maybe I could just have done without "Summer of 87" all together, though I really like it.
I will say, however, that the mix at ~36:00/37:00 (or just thereafter) is mega - really an awesome way to swap up the flow, totally sold me from the moment I heard it.
Anyway, I'm still really just floored by the first 4 tunes. Like a lot of the rest, and it sounds solid and reminds me a lot of my first kind of listening to house music, but the beginning is really something that captures the "timeless" sound I've heard in a few of the nostalgia/tribute sets lately.
