lee burridge is doing a crazy party called Get Weirder, a continuation from the Get Weird party he did about 2 months ago in SF. the parade is so much fun and people dress up in all kinds of crazy costumes, they have big floats that different promoters host and djs spin on them as they travel through SF while tons of people line the streets to dance and have fun!!!!

+1 for LF and SF in general.
Went to LoveFest the first 2 years (still called LoveParade then I believe?) Top notch both times. Floats end up lined up in a square surrounding the courtyard in front of City Hall about 30-50 yards apart from each other. Totally killer being able to walk to another float to catch someone new... no shortage of talent either. SF has great locals as well, and there are tons of parties at the clubs before and after the parade.
Highly recommended.
