I like getting compliments, plain and simple.
Whether it's something I was born with or something I worked for, they make me feel better and boost my ego (not that I have self confidence problems, it's quite on the contrary).
Besides, it means you've probably left a good impression on a person, which can't be bad.
People don't give compliments to people they don't like.

i'm fine getting compliments. i always say "thanks" with a big smile.


as far as getting complimented on things i can't change...i've been complimented on my freckles a lot, even by guys who generally don't like freckles. they said i'm one of the rare sexy freckles type. makes me feel good
