Actually he is making decent money fighting in a local promotion, and has tons of ads for drinks and clothing on the fight network.

He never got back his confidence after the Franklin loss, but after a few wins i am willing to bet he will be on the next UFC card in Montreal.

mixed martial arts is huge in montreal...so much talent is coming out of quebec right now it is crazy. It helps when one of the best pound for pound fighters in the world is from here.

Well, when you have guys like Chris Horodecki and Mike Hominick up there teaching, wouldnt be surprised at the depth of the talent pool there. I wonder if Carlos Newton also has a school up there... Im disappointed though that Horodecki didnt take his skills anywhere, he could have easily fought in Japan at his weight, although he would be at a severe disadvantage in the ground game. Dennis Kang is also Canadian, and hes huge in Japan. Canadians are getting around little by little.

You guys have FightNet up there right...? where Big John did commentary for the channel, then quit. Now there rumors he might come back to reffing. Atleast you guys have a fight channel... NY aint got shit... our channel is spike but they show reruns of the ultimate fighter and stupid ass filler UFC events (its basically a patchwork of good UFC fights packed into an hour) when companies like elitexc or affliction are having a live event to steal ratings like the pricks they are.

Stuff like Dream, K1, M1-Global, Pride were/are never shown here.
