I dunno really...we live in a country neighborhood that is pretty cut-off from the urban areas. Plus I work in Michigan and really don't spend much time in South Bend. If we shop or dine out it's in Mishawaka/Granger.

When I think of shitty parts of cities I am used to seeing shitty parts of Dallas and Philadelphia, so I guess anything that isn't as shitty as that, I don't notice lol.

oh, well myself and my bro and sister went to innercity schools. I went to Kennedy Elementary and my sister got all the way to LaSalle High before we vacated.

I know most of the folks that I work with (who have kids) live in the Penn school district by choice as opposed to Clay (which I think is inner-city). I could only guess that attests to the shittiness.

Come back and reunite with your old city and we can test it's shittiness together. There is a great lounge downtown and my wife said they played 'Sandstorm' there 2 weeks ago.

for our dinosaur week all we did was watch Land Before Time. We also had some heroin dealer with a gun who used to chill on the playground. I think his name was Murphy. I was planning on making a trip up there some time to see how South Bend is doing. Now I know where I can crash \o/
