I used to play, but quit like 6 months ago. Still haven't sold my cards (in the closet)

Same with Pogs, I played those back in the day, now they aren't worth the cardboard they are printed on.

Yeah,i was playing magic but i quit almost a year ago..
Yesterdya though i saw this ad on magic and new cards and stuff and i thought:why not post?
Too expensive hobby,but real nice!
and i still got my cards too..MANY OF THEM!

I used to play back in highschool for about a year or two, then got sick of it bored when I discovered drinking and partying. I sold my deck just as fast as I could, had a decent "blue" one, I think I even have a few cards left...but I got out of it and glad I was. What a waste. I still have an Rpg I want to play a little of called "Rifts". I'm NOT going to waste a night out to play. Fuck that! lol I mean I'm going to try and get something organized when I have an hour or 2 off with nothing to do and try then. Then go out and party.

mm i love magic. Ive been playing it for the last 4 years non stop. Ive even flown around the world to play it. Its my addiction. I spend hours a day playing it and then dont get anything else done. But god damn do i love that game

I used to play it a lot when I was a kid.It caused quite a riot at my school,everybody were fighting with each other over something that had to do with the cards.The funniest thing was when one of the students didn't want his cards anymore.He went up on the rooftop of one of the school buildings and started throwing his cards all over the place,and then of course,pandemonium ensued.60-70 12-13 year old kids starting trampling each other all over the schoolyard to get hold of some of the cards.Hilarious!

Eventually,it got banned,and then the interest for MTG died for the majority of the students there.I continud playing a while,though,and I still have my cards intact.I don't know too many that still play,but me and a friend of mine always like to pull out our decks from our respective shoeboxes and duke it out once in a while.It's still a lot of fun.
