Most overrated DJ's:
Paul van Dyk, Paul Oakenfold, Tiesto, Ferry Corsten.
I don't like any of them. When the money goes to their heads and they get famous, they start acting "cool" and dissing Trance, which is the fashionable thing to do nowadays. Ferry Corsten and Tiesto, both of whom have had their day, may not be dissing Trance but they're gradually moving away from the uplifting, melodic style that made them famous. Ferry's productions are becoming shitty, and Tiesto is venturing further into boring Progressive. Paul van Dyk is even embarassed to say the word "Trance"; he always says "electronic dance music" to be cool and distance himself from Trance -- what a hypocrite! As for Paul Oakenfold, his music is extremely boring and slow, and has no energy or excitement whatsoever. His music is for the headphones, not for the dancefloor.
In short, I dislike all of these famous DJ's, because they're embarassed to play the music I like. You might ask: what kind of music do I like? I like hard, fast, and _melodic_ memorable Trance, that really hypes you up and fills you with energy! (Stuff spun by our DJ Dawn, for instance.)
