This is true. It's a minor step up from the early days of the internet when people had MIDIs playing on their personal pages, but still bad form.

Intuition Recordings is the best one I've seen posted to this thread. Most label web sites look like they're from 2002 or something. This one is pretty modern and takes advantage of some of the newer developments in the world of web design.
Flash is a big no-no for me. Google won't index it and you can't expect everyone to want to wait around for some clunky interface to load. Automatically playing music equals instant death. There are, no doubt, some viable applications for Flash (I use a limited amount on my site to stream MP3s), but if you seek to generate traffic and tie your web site in to the growing social media revolution, I'd say it is the wrong choice every time. But hey, feel free to disagree with me.
