fl started life as a very simple loop creating program, aimed somewhat towards beginners and possessing a dinstinctly amateurish feel. users of 'proper' producing software would look down on fl users as if they were merely one step above the ejay kids...

of course, now it's a fully-fledged pro-standard sequencer/software studio, that isn't really an issue anymore. if people still slate it then i'd assume they're either too used to another app to appreciate the interface or are simply ignorant and living in the past?

i think its the best value for money pro-sequencer out there... i just dont like the interface and therefor use cubase, but it can do the same thing as any other pro sequencer.

And yet you still get signed

The software is only as good as the producers using it. For example it was rumoured Flutlicht/SHOKK stuff was made in FL and they sounded very good. Terry Bones remix of wavy gravy i also think was done in FL & was good. It's about having the skill to get a good sound out of a program and in many cases that doesn't happen simply put.

Bastards!!!

Yes, like the guitar.

I hear its the next big thing.

Although most music with it in it seems to be fairly crap. and purists are like, GUITAR HAS ALLWAYS BEEN ANALOGUE, like gee... sif its the only thing.
