Haha that's more like it.
The sets were flawless from what I could hear, and the selection was probably on the order of 70% bangers and 30% party tunes (and yes, we did get treated to the Kanye West chop-up). Maybe it wasn't quite as good as his Time set, but I'm still very happy that I made it out to hear it.
This having been my first time to TIL, I can't find much to like about the club. Maybe it's just the Thursday night crowd though. (And no, I'm not talking about the hipsters, they're mostly cool, or hot in several cases.)
Wow, it's after 5 AM and I'm still wide awake. Glad I took the day off tomorrow (er... today). |
was I the only one that noticed a fair amount of train wrecks?...well..I wouldn't go as far as train wrecks, but there were definately some mixes that sounded like boots in the dryer. I'm not even sure who was on when they were happening cause i couldn't see the booth where we were standing at the time. Most of them were in the first 30 mins of the set.
Their track selection we super fun all night.
I really enjoyed the opening dj too...was it Nasty Nav?
When A-Trak did that hip-hop mini set near the end, I was really impressed. He probably played about 25 tracks in 15 mins. Very interesting and tight mixes by that point.
