So it was mainly trance? Not much house?
Nah there is lots of genres. House and trance dominate, but there is also DnB, Jungle, Techno, etc.

Hey, does anybody know what the last track (I think it was a vocal?) that Above & Beyond played is called and by who? I would greatly appreciate it if anyone can help me out....

Do remember Above & Beyond - No One on Earth (Gabriel & Dresden Remix) towards the end of their set (when Dave Dresden came back up and joined them), but not sure if it was their last track. I forget.

What happened to ATB? I thought he was supposed to spin after Armin on the float.

Well, I'm not exactly sure if it WAS the last track either but, it was towards the end of their set though. I can't really remember either. It's not "No One on Earth" though.

Dont know, but he played at the afterparty and unleashed mayhem when he dropped Smells like teen spirit. That was nasty! Sounded great on that soundsystem.

Re: LOVEFEST.....how was it????
It looked like Lovefest was promoted very well among younger people. It can only grow bigger. The festival site should make use of a few more block next year.
But what about the older folks with money? It appeared that people over 21 were the minority over there. I guess the organizer should think about how to attract them to the festival for next year.

I could be mistaken but I thought that was Dave Dresden. Crowd went batshit crazy, but I didn't particularly care for it, having never been a big Nirvana fan. Toward the end of the track, something went wrong with the soundsystem and the spundae float went silent. we then went back to the kontrol/listed area.
ridiculous weekend, made me pround to live here.

it was awesome.
Pure Madness and mayhem. Nice turnout this year. I've been doing this for the past 4 years now, and each year it continues to grow. I can't believe how many showed up this year. It was so hard to make your way around - everywhere. I was hoping some people would have changed their plans due to the threat of rain.
I've got to give big props to the BA DnB crew. They had a huge float, massive sound system, and it seemed like a large crowd out front the entire time. Didn't know the BA DnB scene was so huge.
Local love was off the hook. Everyone threw down. Even blurr playing "castles in the sky". Ha ha ha. Nice one bro!
Spundae/skills was going crazy as well. I didnt catch a whole lot of the sets over there this year. Simply because last year I hung out there most of the day - decided to venture out this year. But the few sets I caught over there were insane. Donald Glaude ripped it up - and Armin did a good job closing things out. There was also a really fat crowd out in front of Spundae all day.

exhausted and destroyed... Wednesday evening to Monday morning was a bit too much but it was fun!
S.O.S. at the official after party & SKILLS/Spundae float and every Lee Burridge set the past few days were the best! I really want to see Omid 16B solo! Thought he was the most technical and creative of the three even though Demi was the only one to use the efx1000 plus already seen Demi and Masiello solo -- the best for last? And I had a really good talk with Lee last night at Mighty, Anthony Papa couldn't make it so he filled in. Even gave me a track I was looking for but was only available on vinyl
Trance at the official after party was boring cept for a few tracks that A&B (happen to bump into them Sunday at a sushi restaurant) and K&A played... Seriously ATB & AvB were a snooze fest. I would of gone to KONTROL after SOS but I'm not trying to spend too much and was tired and ready to just crash too but had to wait on two friends so stayed until the end
Elite Force had a fun breaks/electro house set at the Opel float and the breaks at the Beats float was pretty good too
It was nice to bump into known and new TAs and old friends too! Saw a friend who I have not seen in about 2 years at Get Weird! Freaking ghost!
