does anyone have the EVENT TR6's? i'd like to hear more about them and see some pics if possible.

event is the win!!!!!

you might like the alp5 for the wall... great sound, relatively cheap and white speakers

it's damn hard to find any proper info on event monitors on the web. do they even have a website?

right now i'm kinda thinking of getting either the event TR6's or yamaha HS50M's. they are in the same price range (a range much bigger than i first thought i'd spend) with the yamaha being slightly cheaper.

what makes this much harder is, that i really have no place to go and test these as no one here sells stuff like this, so i'd have to order them…

also i'm having great difficulties in finding wall mounts that would hold either of these speakers. it seems like most wall mounts are made for some specific speakers (speakers i'm not getting).

i could buy stands for the speakers too, if i'd find ones that are tall enough and don't have a massive footprint (i don't really have too much space). but it seems like most stands are 115 cm tops, which really isn't enough.

As for monitors, it seems people either go with KRK Rockits ($150) or Mackie ($500). Whichever one suits your budget I guess.

I don't like Mackie's lower end offerings at all, the sound they deliver is just not accurate to signal.

I've been playing off friend's KRKs lately and I absolutely love them, I'll be getting some Rokit 8's soon.
