It works because it's straight up and sincere. Anyone with a simple honest approach to things wins in my books. I fucking hate bullshit.

The only thing that makes guys (or anyone, really) with a mouth full of shit fun to talk to is being able to make fun of them right to their face, lol.

oh and just for the record, i'm not only talking about approaching members of the opposite sex. i'm talking about like in general too. people who go the extra mile to be "different" and unique. it's just tired to me. i like nice, simple, genuine people who aren't ashamed of listening to top 40 music or shopping at abercrombie & fitch lol it's been my experience that those are the people who are the most refreshing to be around. they aren't all caught up in trying to impress people or make a statment. they are comfortable being "like everyone else".
