I just hope Conservatives don't win.. give someone else a shot at running the place.. their recent power was meh for me, so let's see what someone else can do..
With this mentality, I was gona vote Green.. but as jsibilin said, they won't win... so maybe I'll go NDP?
Man, it's sad when I know 100X more about the american platforms than ours

Agreed.. even though it'd be sweet, it's not gonna happen.
Last elections the margin was 3000 for the Lesbirals against the Bloc, now with an armenian running for the CPC, lots of sheep Liberal armenians will vote for that guy, hoping the bloc wins in my riding

Not really. I'd rather vote with my conscience than any 'strategic voting'
that's a utopian outlook
you gotta have a strategy and clear outlook - there's no way in hell Greens will win, so why not vote for a more feasible candidate?

You'd best be voting with your local candidates in mind, as in a minority government, local voices can actually be heard above the din of party politics at times.

you can tell most of the people that have participated in this TA election poll live in an around toronto lol
def does not reflect the country as a whole, but in our little bubble which is toronto or the gta is a whole its wishful thinking to have the conservatives completely out of the picture and have ndp and liberals going at it.

Right, the way to make your voite "count" is to understand the reality, which you can only do if you keep yourself informed with the daily news and polls. You have to maintain a pulse on the system if you want to make a difference with your vote.
If you really wanted Green to win, you'd join the party and try to convert existing constituencies by using a methodical approach of tracking each household via phone or door knocking to understand if your party has a chance.
If you haven't gone through the whole process to support what you truly believe in then your opinion doesn't matter (if the party you support is a tiny minority).
