Knew it was The Onion immediately and was not surprised when I clicked and found I was right. Like a lot of Onion articles, it manages to be humorous by injecting a little bit of silliness with a clever mixture of insight, realism and the obvious. I liked this one.
I am entitled to my opinion and I will share it with you after reading this article. First off, I disagree with the headline: everyone is entitled to their opinion. How could you not be entitled to your own opinion? Your opinion is yours, nobody can take it from you. Perhaps I'm getting into semantics, but I think that what the article really gets across is that some people just aren't worth listening to once they open their mouths or type their nonsense. These people are called boring, uninteresting, stupid, obnoxious, weird and the list goes on and on. However, this is surely common sense and I assumed that most children reached this conclusion without even thinking about it at length. Who didn't know this?
