The swivel mech is different to the 1000's & looks much stronger though obviously I haven't seen the inside of them! Inside the 1000's the swivel is basically a couple of 1mm pieces of plastic which as we all know snaps easily.
The 2000's sound great & feel comfortable to wear. I don't know the cost, if it's $450 thats nuts

Killer design with the magnesium body. But $450?! Bull fucking shit. The drivers in em may be better then the 1000's plus the new body... but to cost almost double that of the 1000's is brutal.
Hopefully competitors will be introducing metallic bodies as well, at a fair price.

Is this some sort of strange joke? What a rip!
Pioneer's are the most god-awful looking headphones I ever seen. I couldn't even wear them.

Couldn't possibly disagree more. They feel every bit as cheap as the HDJ-1000's (which made it about 10 weeks for me before breaking and I baby my gear), they extremely, EXTREMELY uncomfortable, and the sound quality is as bad if not worse than the Sony MDR 700 DJ cans.
Avoid at all costs. Not worth $50, much less $450.

I mock anyone who purchases these.
Please, have u even heard these first hand, or is this another uninformed bash? My HDJ 1000's sound great..and yes I have the 7506's too.

Definitely not worth that price. Street value will most likely be in the hundered dollar range if they expect to sell any at all to the bedroom market.
So tell me if HDJ 1000's are ugly, then what does a good looking set of phones look like then that offer isolation? HD 280's? lol. I can't wait for this.

Not phones but, Etymotic ER-6. Personally, I don't like headphones.

never going to touch pioneer cans again the problems with the 1000's.
and that price is fucking outrageous.
totally agree with you on that one, who else feels that new pro-audio product prices are just WAY out of this world like the A&H 4D at like 3000$? that mixer better do something fucking amazing for its price.
