here we go.
Some serious deep house going on here, much better than the last crap you pulled, Mack. I didn't even know 'I'm In Love' had a proper vocal remix from Faber - I just have the dub. It's a bit on the cheesy side... maybe should've used the dub, ha! The opening track was titties tho, a bit of progressive melody over a deep house background - definitely picking it up.
The mix into Underlying Feeling was a bit iffy, I think that guitar clashed with something, but at least you kept it steady. It's a lot of vocal stuff right away (at least this and the previous track). Looks like Bas' diva side has rubbed off on you. lol! The lyrics on this tune are sexy tho, me likey.
MORE VOCALS! Omg, you can totally spin a gay club out here bro. They will eat this shit up. Not sure how I feel about this tracks placement at this particular moment, it seems like a big spike; the build-up and the proggish feeling will likely lead it nicely into Kaskade's track.
Sure enough, EDX never disappoints with a good progressive tune.
This deserves it's own section - LOVE AIRY! This is definitely getting added to the crate. Fantastic track. In fact I'd just as soon skip Are You Ready & Angel On My Shoulder and go straight into this & Chaa Cha.
Gripper also a much welcomed addition - I'm hearing a lot of negative feedback on this track (especially from Jason, you bastard) but for some reason I find it really pleasant to listen to. I think most people that don't like it are turned off by the strings. By the way the mixing for the past half hour has been really really solid, I think you're improving on that aspect for the past 3 mixes I've heard from you. It's not so much the beatmatching, which was never really a problem, but your timing seems to getting better and better.
I like Here I Am, and Lisa Shaw is the shit. I haven't heard a bad track out of Fred Everything yet. On a negative note, this track is a bit of a step down in the general mood and where I thought the mix was heading - especially after Gripper. I think it would've been a nice one to close out with. The mix into I Remember definitely made things smoother, though.
You're Not Alone is soooo epic, lolol. It's a nice clubby track, definitely made me nod my head. You're definitely moving into the more progressive side of things over the past couple of tracks, and with Toronto. I dunno why but Toronto seems a bit dulled down, is there something turned off/down? It just seems a bit limited, maybe it's my imagination but it doesn't sound as rich as it should, toned down in one aspect or another... maybe it's too early in the morning.
Sunset Is Coming is a fun track, definitely keeping it in mind, very danceable. And that Peter Gabriel tune is fucking JOKES. HA!
Conclusion: Vocals, vocals, and more vocals. Bitches just sAnging. It was an overload for me, I've never been that big of a vocal guy so I was a little overwhelmed. But the mixing was solid, nothing too outstanding, except for that first one. Last track made me want to punch babies.

i love Airy as well, but had such a hard time finding something to move on with after it...nothing seemed to really jive with it - and i almost took it out; but i loved the way i was able to angel on my shoulder to mix in with it....it wasn't until i found Chaa Cha, that that whole section finally meshed so well.

you know, i noticed something was a bit quieter with it as well, but didn't really think too much of it. i'm not sure if it was the track itself, or what, but i know i didn't really do much with it in general; so it could have been just the mp3? i dunno

As far as the vocals go - i've been getting more and more into them....but it totally depends on my mood....and for this one everything just seemed to fit in its spot. i try to avoid the "gay mainstream" stuff....please, the last thing i want is a bunch of flamers going crazy because of some madonna remix or whatever...so i hope it wasn't too cheesy (even if that last one was getting there....lol). but on the other hand, who doesn't appreciate a random bas-diva track? haha
thanks for the review denys! always appreciate!
(btw, i thought you liked Silver from my last mix?)
