I was having a similar problem with my CDI 500's. Skipping frames, thinking I got some bad MP3's. I burned to audio to test it out and now I experience no problems. It kinda sucks, as it would be more convenient to use mp3 discs, but technology is what it is. I'm just glad I can play my tracks with no problems.
