This is awesome shit. I fucking HATE jpop and anime music and by extension, have an aversion to music with japanese singers (I apologize), but I like what I'm hearing so far.
Oh, as for a name:
Dissociative Buddhist
Because of your buddhist leanings and the trippy stuff you post about. I don't know what else. I can't focus.

Upon realising that linguistics is driving me mad, I decided to get my sanity back with music production. But, I need a name, other than the one my parents came up with. I want to produce a blending of drum'n'bass, shibuya-kei and glitch... if you don't know the latter two genres, just think of music for kids with ADHD.
Here's the stuff I came up with so far:
Shakira Kurosawa
1337-8347
Colourless Green Idealist
Or else, I could just use my own name.
Shakira Kurosawa haha this is brilliant, these are good ideas. Oh, and "Spelling Centre For Kids" ! A few more random ones i just thought although these would fit better to some kind of neo-post-rock or something
Do You Listen Deaf Girl
Yell With Megaphones
I.C(u)nt.Lick.It (this is like an electroclash name lol)
Fukuoka As Viewed From Space
To Wither-in’ Earth (this is more like post-goth-drone avant-rock lol)
Fast Drums El-Ow-El
LIRA
The Flames of TA (someone should make a cheesy trance hit with this name)
Herro Yumi

I'm not really fond of j-pop in general (it gets even worse when you understand the lyrics), Akridot, but shibuya-kei really rocks my socks. Dissociative Buddhist has a nice ring to it

LMAO, loved these! Specially the last one, as I've invited a really talented friend of mine called Yumi to do some vocals... was that a pun, though?

It must be awesome to be Greek when you want to use long words
(Got it, by the way... I'm kinda slow when it comes to Engrish )
