I thought the set was nasty and like some of the other posters said, he really banged it out with some good dark beats from like 3-5... the beginning was really good too, not overly cheesy at all.. a little bit here and there but it is Armin's roots are in lighter melodic trance so the you trance snobs on this board need to get over yourselves already.
It's really just sad and I feel bad for the SAME people who before and after every armin/pvd etc event feel the need to post the SAME sh!t... retards
ANYWAYS I was soooo disappointed he stopped when he stopped his set at 5!! And then bullshitted around half dropping beats, halfWhat was that all about?? is that Made or someone who dictates that or can armin play til whenever he wants?? If armin could've kept spinning then he's def dropping a few notches in my book... I was actually saying to someone just before 5 that i'd never seen so many people still going crazy at 5, its usually thinned out a lot more by then. But all in all it was def a fun night and still 5 hours of trance goodness so whatever.
They need wayyy more bartenders in that place. And that area that they were selling food (hotdogs???) should have been selling waters or something to lighten the load on the bars..
And really theres no reason anyone on this board should be paying the $70-$80 for tix. We're basically the first people to know about these things.... that being said - you really can't charge people $80 for a 5 hour set.
The trance set is pretty small and connected as it is NY - things like that is what drives people away from the scene..
