did not enjoy the cdj not being reading my cds, the annoying cue function (which I never really figured out how to), weird pitch bend button (like huh?), crappy jog wheel...

yes, i'm spoiled by my 1000mk3s

Ya i totally agree. The jog wheel sucks. It just feels so junky, the cue function im still not even quite sure how to use lol (even after a year and a half, kind of sad), and ya i dont realy like pitch buttons but that's what im just used to.
Nice on the MK'3 man. I dont have the money for em or i would def pick those up. I am prolly gonna get a used pair of 800MK1'S for now.

How can you say it is cheating? There isnt one set way to DJ, each has their own style. I myself mix with the two headphones, far clearer. Some people have a good ear where they can listen in one ear, usually those who have played turntables before, and picked it up before cdjs became the "norm". Anyone who looks down on you, can pull their head straight from their hole, as they are talking shite. What clubs nowadays don't have the mix function on their mixers? None
