I dont think aloe will work on a grease burn
I too burn myself(working in a restaurant) and its often cleaning the fryers. Tho I did it while the deep fryer was empty after I had drained the oil, and I was cleaning the inside. I touched the metal part..which had just been 350 degrees...and was nice enough to melt my skin. The scab is right on my knuckle(only a small burn) but its not letting me bend my finger...the skin is too tight.
I also nearly dropped the entire bucket full of hot oil on myslef as I was filling the fryer. Luckily I threw my belly @ the bucket and pushed it back up. It got a bit warm, and the pot melted my apron to the side of the pot..but I was ok.
