some of my top restaurants in MTL:

L'épicier
Club Chasse et Pêche
Le Local
DNA
Globe
Pied de Cochon

If you want to go for a good steak, stay away from the Queue de Cheval, go to the Keg instead. Much cheaper for a very decent quality.

+1 that restaurant is such a rip off.
