don't really care what it looks like as long as it still has the mazdaspeed's ~300hp. actually, i'd hope it looks better than the current one. looks alone would prevent me from getting it over a gti/r32.

Mazdas are cars clearly designed for women. The faggiest of all the Mazdas being the Miata, and even women don't drive them. The only people who you see driving Miatias are retired men and middle aged bald guys, lol.

well when i can buy my Mazda3 brand new for 14k, i will not complain. i have put a whole bunch of miles on it so far, and it hasn't given me problems ........ yet. *knocks on wood.

No... but I did drive my (ex-)wife's MINI Cooper S any chance I got. I could yank that thing around like nobody's business... plus, it was a supercharged 6-speed car that weighed like 2 lbs. DON'T JUDGE ME!
