Activision's not-so-secret DJ Hero game has seemingly been name-dropped yet again, and dated for release in Summer 2009.
According to a supposed e-mail newsletter from superstar DJ, Tiesto, the dutch artist - who's often referred to as the biggest DJ in the world - will provide tracks especially for the unannounced Guitar Hero spin-off.
"We are proud to announce that Tiësto has teamed up with the game developer Activision and their latest project DJ Hero," reads the newsletter.
Activision will release a special Tiesto edition of DJ Hero - similar to Aerosmith and Metallica versions of Guitar Hero - which will contain classic Tiesto productions "as well as new music composed especially for the game."
Tijs 'Tiesto' Verwest said of the deal: "I am very excited about this! I think this is a great way to introduce people into Djing. Maybe they realize it's not as easy as they think. I am sure this brings new fans to the scene, dance music is not far from hip-hop for example. Hopefully the music I have composed appeals to all kinds of fans!"
We're still waiting for confirmation of the news from Activision UK.
DJ Hero first surfaced in a trademark earlier this year, and was later backed up by an accidental confirmation from the Guitar Hero: World Tour team.
It's said to utilise a new turntable-style controller and a setup that has coloured icons scrolling around a virtual on-screen record.

Armin was the first; he looked at it and did a double take and laughed when he saw it.
Ferry was second: he laughed immediately saying "Where did you get this? Look at how young Tijs looks, and Armin... his HAIR! At least I look good!"
Tiesto was third: he said it was the most ridiculous picture and laughed, showing Craig (Pettigrew) and his tour manager Wilfried before signing and giving it back.
All three of the guys thought it was a great photo. Glad I got the chance for them to all sign it
