are u guys using the internal soundcard on your macbooks when playing out? or do u use something else?

ah ok. does that soundcard have balanced outputs?
i see that theres Traktor Pro and Traktor Scratch Pro, is the scratch with hardware and the basic just software?
edit: doesnt seem to be balanced

Why would you want balanced outputs for a DVS? Most mixers don't have balanced inputs for the decks.

was considering using it for producing too. but i see now that i can use whatever soundcard i want on traktor right? just need two outputs (main+headphone)?

You can use whatever soundcard you want with Traktor. HOWEVER: If you are using Traktor SCRATCH (for timecode control) you MUST use the audio 8 DJ or a certified mixer.
