Hypovolemic shock is extreme fluid loss/abnormal distribution of fluid outside the body's cells. Cardiogenic shock is when the heart isn't pumping as strongly as it's supposed to.

Potassium chloride salt-substitute works better for poisoning. It's one of the ingredients in lethal injection.
