Still listening to this track...never get sick of it!
same here this track is just wicked and it never gets boring even after you've listened to it millions and millions of times.
but for me i think either ayla - ayla or system f - out of the blue got me into trance.

Ok this sucks to say, although i could take the Robert Miles - Children route as well, but...it would probably be Better Off Alone that began my relentless search for kewl trance choons. My cousin played both Miles and Deejay and told me both the songs were Miles, so i then attempted to find Better Off Alone by Robert Miles. I found the real song eventually, but was hopelessly hooked. Needless to say i have moved on but will always have a soft spot in my heart for that song...even if i can't listen to more than 20 secs of it now! peas.
maybe ascension - someone (i.e. tranceport) ugh i dont know.

i totally agree with infinity, i got hooked by Children and went nuts listening to 9PM, Greece 2000 helped on the way to becoming the trance fan that i am now...

I heard Snap! "Rhythm is a Dancer" and 2Unlimited "The Magic Friend" at some party in the summer of 1992. I was instantly hooked, and I guess that the first "true" trance track was something like the Age of Love or the Abfahrt-tracks.
The threshold thing: the truly great ones (like Awex "It's our Future" or Café Del Mar) can be heard from now on till doomsday without getting boring in the slightest bit, whereas the unimpressive ones barely can be heard once.
