I ordered a new LCD screen about three weeks ago (just minutes before I left for the Dallas gig) since I broke the original one. I got the package in the mail yesterday, except that there was no LCD screen in it, only the protective film that goes over it with a smiley face drawn on it. Very Smart. He got the worse negative feedback of his life along with a nifty report to eBay's buyer's protection services. I don't know how they handle it and really it's not that big of a deal....but $30 is $30.
If anything like that happens to you guys, just give me your credit card numbers, the 3-digit security code (located on the back of the card), and the item you are buying. I can help you out.
I didn't read anything after what you wrote but I am an experienced eBayer in buying and selling. Been buying new vinyl from 3 different distrubtors and selling them retail on eBay (until CDDJ decks took over and Watts TRC and MRI went out of buisness) plus buying huge used vinyl collections and selling them retail...Call PAYPAL and you will get your cash back !!! PM me if you need help. It's really not hard at all for someone to figure it out. It just sounded to me like you were thinking "Ah, fuck it...it's only $30 duckets..but if you want you $30 duckets back I can help you very easily. I didn't read the rest of the Thread so maybe you did get it back already...

I know the rules on PayPal and I've actually called PayPal before on more than one occasion. It takes weeks before PayPal does anythnig regarding a scam on eBay, and you don't get cash back. You either get a check in the mail that takes another month to get it or you get the money credited back to your account.
I didn't use PayPal for this anyways. I used WorldPay, which is even worse because WorldPay's headquaters are located in Berlin and long distance calling is the last thing I want to do. I emailed them regarding the situation and I still haven't received a response. I really don't care anyways. This just served as a lesson to me. I too am an experienced buyer/seller on eBay. Shit happens everyday no matter how well-qualified or how well you know the system.
