Although his two last EPs on Cynosure and Wagon Repair do belong to the more classical meaning of techno.

Well from what I heard I concluded he is a techno producer, since half of the stuff on Roots And Wire, and all 3 EPs he released this year are techno (dub and dubstep influenced techno is still techno). However, the main reason I mentioned techno is because I feel techno is his weakest point. For example, I think Night Stepping and Incinerate are stronger than pretty much every techno track he released this year (except for Mecca maybe). I just feel that there's so much good dub techno released at the moment, and his stuff rarely stands out.
