From what I have heard, Windows 7 is pretty much an optmized Vista.
Still, I wouldn't rule out compatibility being an issue.

Be very careful when buying stuff that isn't tried and tested.
The first thing you should do with any piece of equipment is to ask here, other forums and google to find out any issues.
Seems like most equipment will always have some kind of issue that you need to ask yourself if you can live with.
