Sounds like Mcprog.

Just look up older Markus Schulz sets from the 2002-2004 era.

Like this amazing 1996 classic?

Hole in one - Life's too short

Love breakdowns like this.

One example of the sort of tracks that were being played was http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yNo_dgFTUxo and some stuff that featured some big high pass filter runs resolving in techy sounds. It was great, it just flowed so well.

Kobbe & Austin Leeds - Fusing Love

Great track, like that deep bass which causes that flow. Remebers me of another track with similar sound, just can't remeber the name right now...maybe later...
To me not very uplifting, but tracks like this work much better at a dancefloor than at home. When I used to go out tracks like this were played in the smaller clubs <2000 people.

Brings up old memories, go with the flow:

Secret Cinema - Timeless Altitude

Nice track with a great driving baseline. I think I get at what you're trying to say in terms of the "feel" of the set. Musta have been trippy with all the spacey decorations.

i remember i was really suicidal one year because my pet parakeet died, and my friend came over, turned on some andy moor and it changed my life. i am a new man now, i have a wife, 6 kids and no job, but fuck it, i have trance, that is all that has ever mattered. those pounding fist fucking basslines and those throw your hands in the air synth lines and harmonies that only trance can attempt and perfect.

Man, every time I've tried to play my stuff at a frat party all I get is requests for Don't Stop Believing and a drink thrown in my face. Mind you, I'm usually not invited and by frat party I mean Circuit City.

Not actually that bad.

You may want to check out John 00 Flemings monthly podcast Global trance grooves. The first section called the deepmix is a lot like this song. However later in the podcast it usaully gets a lot harder almost psytrance towards the end.

Anyways, hello from Tacoma.
