most of the people i really care about seeing never make it to wmc. its nothing new. saving money and seeing the names you wanna see elsewhere > wmc anyway. or so it seems lately.

There's sort of an essence of hedonism that pervades everything in Miami during the WMC. It's a really entertaining thing to be a part of and observe. It's not entirely about the music IMO. At least for a visitor, I suppose.
