i think the best of all was biohazard/RE 1. it had the best suspense and the atmosphere. i remember that it was my first full game (i just played demos before...) and i had it in german (didnt understad shit :P). anyways my ranking of RE is:
1. 1/directors cut
2. 4
3. code veronica
4. 2
5. (the rest)

so hopefully 5 will be somewhere in the first 3

I think it's pretty sad Leon was right next to the chainsaw zombie and they didn't even try to attack...

From what I saw it just looks like you run and shoot.

To be honest, I'm somewhat disappointed. The game looks like a carbon copy of RE4 - straight down to the chainsaw encounter and the way the main character runs - but just set in Africa. RE4 was one of my favorite games of all time, but I was really expecting them to give this one more than just a scenery change.

i agree it just looks like they have worked on the graphics i thought the zombies were supposed to get more intelligent with each game what happened to that?

I watched Resident Evil Degeneration the other day and omg it made me wish that that was the next game. Zombies were classic resident evil.

RE4, the PC DVD version is mind-blowing. Play this with on a high end computer setup, with native HDMI 1080p setup, 5.1/7.1 surround Dolby/Dolby II Digital Sound and really after that there is nothing to comparing on a console. This game has remarkable creepy dark sound effects thus keeping on the edge of your grounds
