the patch didn't do much at all really, helped some, made problems worse for others

in fact it even created more problems for multiple people, no sound, fucked up camera, character walks in circles with no stopping, ect

my memory usage was at 94% before the patch. it is now at 92%, guess they fixed the memory leak

all players need to do is turn down the settings to make it as butt-ugly as the 360/PS3 releases.

turning down resolution doesn't do anything

there are two options to get things running a bit smoother, view and detail distance, which i have down to 0 and 1

if the game is at 1680, it performs the same as if it were at 800x600

hmm, they're pulling around the 40 marks. but still, an 8800 should not be choking on this game, neither should a core2duo. i'm pretty sure the 1gb cards that just came out (gx?) are playing this game great.

the only people getting 60-70fps are those that are owners of the new i7 processors. only time i've seen someone above 40 fps

ps3 supports mouse and keyboard.

However in-game support depends on the game.

PC games run better, look better, are more customisable, have scaling, and generally just shit all over console titles when ported (if the porting is done properly). Bioshock, GTA IV, fallout 3, left 4 dead, assassin's creed etc etc etc were all better on the PC.

nigga please

The only thing worth playing on PC are games RTS and Turn based strategey that are much deeper... but thats it. Consoles are all over the pc gaming wise, unless you plan on spending 2000$ every 12 months.
