Well... I was thinking a kick that is powerful but not too powerful, that sort of kick that they use in trance and other electric music.

you know like...an early 909 kick, with just a little less snap, something like an 808 kick, but with the extra punch of the 606 kick and also some little touch of the sound of the early boss drum machines...

on a more serious note, I think my tutorial on bass and kick might be quite usefull...

so true, but how do you do that when you only own 909 and 808 emulations like me?

You don't have to be sad, you can purchase Deadrat6's sample pack...it only contains one kick, one hat and a snare, but it's all you need for succesful music career!
