well.. vestax makes a badass mixer... and it will probably last longer than one of these (vestax stuff is high build quality)... in the long run the vestax is more than likely a better shot... but like you said, 3X the cash! a pcv275 is about 380$... i only paid $250 more for my xone:32, i figure just go with an A&H !

i did read from atleast 5 or 6 differerent people the faders on the VMX series are fairly durable (a few people mention they are a bit stiff, which is actally to my preference), supposibly panasonic/technics faders are used (matsushita stuff) ... the crossfader curve adjustment is a big turnon to me.. my A&H has the curve adjustment and i love that feature the other thing about the behringer that I noticed that really caught my eye is the DJM-style level indicators for each channel.. not many mixers have full LED graphs for the channel signal itself! a few people also commented on the EQ's being nice.. they are -32db cut.. if they are smooth and properly centered, that would be quite sweet.

honestly, i'm tempted to pick up one of these as a secondary mixer... just because they are cheap, and i need another mixer that isnt just total suckage for my digital stuff... now that I have turntables my good mixer will stay with the tables.....

anyone used one of these? i want some feedback... my post here a while back for info on the VMX series went unanswered...

I looked around the net a bit and actually heard some real good things about the behringers... and they are cheap (yea, even with all that jazz its still a $170 mixer) - BPM counters are hella lame, but might be a cool little crutch as you learn.. then you can cover them with electrical tape

myself, i started out with a stanton RM3S.. not a bad beginner box, but i think the $200 they want for it is a bit overpriced - the fader wont last 6 months if you use it often and the EQs suck camelschlong.

I'm not saying that's a bad mixer, because I've never used one, so I don't know. But it just *looks* like a child's toy.

i like how that mixer looks....

if it were just for looks i would chose it over the Xone 32

i like how it has the LED's for every channel

i have never used it so i cant really say nothing for the quality
