That is outrageous if people think this is the first time a DJ has been arrested for narcotics.

How is someone with coke on them automatically a cokehead? It doesn't mean he does it all the time.

I was under the impression that coke was quite prevalent amongst DJs.... how else would these guys have the energy to travel to different cities night after night and play sets at ridiculous times like from 5-7am.... unless they have some superhuman powers that i am not aware of?

I wouldn't image it'd be that hard for someone with a shifted sleep schedule

the problem is that the schedule would be constantly shifting..... like they might play a set at 10pm in one town, a 3am set in a town 2 hours over... and then fly across the country the next night a play a 4 am set there... i can see them being fully awake at those times but having the energy to entertain a crowd from multiple hours???

Leading back to my main point as to why this is so mindblowing? What is so surprising? The bigguns play all night long in a different city each and every day. Not to mention the jetlag that would completely mangle their bodies day in and day out. Without some sort of stimulant to keep them wired I don't think the human body could take that much of a beating on a continual basis. Drugs have always been a part of this scene whether it be the DJ's/producers themselves and or any of its affiliates/fanbase. They HAVE to be prevelant for this scene to suceed.
