on a more serious note, its sad that people don't give proper responses around here if they don't share your taste in music. also sad that only like 1% of the forum posters here actually listen to trance anymore.

the external key original is one of my favorite tracks of all time, though i haven't heard the perry o'neil remix

Both the original and remix of Eternal Key are really good. The O'neill Remix is very typical Perry sounding with the hypnotic melody that never goes anywhere.

That was an epic remix. Fantastic track with both the original and remix.

Why don't you ask him, why did he change his style? I think he is checking his myspace address..

Well, since you have such a firm grasp on what's 'mcprog' and can instantly recognize what a mediocre DJ O'Neil is, maybe you can tell me about artists who you hold in comparatively higher regard. Be my teacher, tell me what I should like and what iinferior and run-of-the-mill music I should protect my ears and my mind from.

you seem to be obsessed with comparing one DJ to another. why? perry o'neill is mediocre, end of. in 10 years' time, no one will remember him, which is exactly what should happen. and if you want some education, go and find out for yourself, i'm not going to waste my time cultivating the tastes of n00b from the US. and learn how to spell.

lots of mediocre DJs have done this, especially trance and hard house / dance (eg eddie halliwell). now they all play minimal.

I guess it's easier to make 56 minimal/electro tracks for 2 weeks, instead of making superb progressive trance... Kinda mau5ish..

I think that Vincend de Moor can produce about 12 minimal/electro tracks per day if he wanted to.

The guy produced carte blanch in one day for gods sake.
