you're probably just choosing sounds that have too many FX on them... and you're "losing control" of the synth. find a sound you like, strip the FX... make sure its still the sound you're after then slowly build up the FX, perhaps the delay sounds fine solo' but not in the mix, so work the wet/dry knob, maybe the reverb sounds great in a breakdown but needs to be removed elsewhere.

imo synths ship with too crazy of patches and sound "great" at first instance but lack the ability to be anything usable.

I noticed a huge change in my mixes (for the better) when i didn't put reverb and delay on every element, sounds good solo, sounds like shit in a mix.

Maybe rather than stripping away the reverb and delay you could eq just the tail that comes from each effect.

Thats interesting because for the first time in my life I through a reverb on the master (never do this), no reverb on anything else and it actually sounding really good.

It was a watery remix of airwave so it fit, but suprisingly the kick sounded rather solid and punchy than diluted after I rendered it.

I do agree though on the fact that reverb is like working with TNT. It can be used properly as easy as it can be misused. Just depends on whos using it.

weeelll actually im using the SWEET ...windows software " TEH WINDOWS MEDIA PLAYER" since my winamp doesnt show the screen anymore...im kinda not intelligent with this stuff so I broke up with winamp since he stopped showing the "screen, where everything is" and just ended at the little bar.
Yes and i do know my english is not the best.(?)

But ok, tomorrow ill see if i can get a sample up. Do you mean with sample just to play a random melody on Live, export it and convert it to mp3 and then upload to RS or sthin?

Well, not a random melody. One of your current productions you're having problems with.

To remove muddyness, I'd recommend cutting some of the lower-end frequencies below 400 hz but with a narrower Q. Cutting them with a ultra wide-bandwidth Q will end up removing some of the frequencies and it'll end up sounding too tinny and thin. Once done, you could also try a gentle boost around the mid/range just to give it some presence in the mix. Not above 10khz though, otherwise you'll just exacerbate your tinny sound.

That's generally what I'll do to give some of my sounds clarity in the mix

well actually this is just a sound, since im trying to improve my sound creation skills i am currently not doing "the whole thing", just trying to make some sounds that .. sound.. ok, but it has been very disappointing.

Here is a sample of the sound, just some random notes, first i got 2 at the same time and after its just single notes, i hope you get a feeling of the overall sounding of this.

Just listen to it and maybe you know how to improve it so that it sounds clearer...and bettah.

In relation to muddyness, the sample you posted is pretty useless. Post a sample of one of your current projects (don't be embarassed if you think its shit) where there are numerous elements occuring at once and you think it sounds muddy/flat/dull and people can help tell you why this is.

Posting a sample of a single synth sound without hearing it in its context means nothing. And trying to make a single sound become huge, phat and massive on its own will likely render it unuseable in a mix.
