Somewhere at the top of my list:

Delirium Tremens (Belgian pale ale)
Dogfish Head's Midas Touch Golden Elixir
Coopers' Pale Ale / Sparkling Ale (from my hometown of Adelaide)
Guinness Draught
Boddingtons
Warsteiner Dunkel
Smithwicks
Pyramid Hefeweizen
Blue Moon
Kingfisher
Sapporo Lager

I fckn LOVE Tremens! You know what I just found out the other day? They're not making the 750mL bottles anymore, or at least getting them shipped to the US. If you go to Spec's you'll only find the small 12 oz bottles, which fckn sucks because at $9 for the 750mL you get more than $5 for the 12 oz. Tremens is almost like Tripel Karmeliet, though. I'd rather spend the $10 on a bottle of TK.

I tried Smithwicks at Hauns Beir Haus during the summer. I don't know why, but I think I enjoy that beer at room temperature rather then it being ice cold. It looses carbonation like uber quick.

Blue Moon is the bomb, but if you dont want to spend the time cutting up slices of orange to put in the glass, go out and buy a pack of Hoegaarden. It's fckn bad ass with the tangy orange spices in it. Goes great with some Mahi Mahi or Swordfish IMO.

I still need to get my hands on that Asian stuff, Sapporo. Is it anything like Tsing-Tao?

Have never tried Tripel Karmeliet but I'll put it on the list. I'm totally with you on serving Smithwick's closer to room temp. Same with Guinness - seems like you lose a lot of the flavour when it's cold. Hoegaarden ftw.

Sapporo Draft is one of my favourite lagers, very smooth and crisp but still has good flavour. Not really like Tsing Tao which is mildly hoppy Pilsner. Both great beers nonetheless.

Also try Abt.12 if you haven't done so yet. It's the ONLY beer with an international rating of 100 (TK has a rating of 96). Believe or not, over-priced Central Market's got it much cheaper than Spec's.

I'm getting beer-hungry now, and I'm still stuck at work.

I've tried the Urquell. It's pretty hoppy, but if you want...like, EPIC HOPS, put your tongue in a Hop-Rod IPA. Fat Tire has too much of something that just doesnt make me drink it as much, and it's not the belgian hops either. I think it may be barley overload.

Chimay Cinq Cents FTW.

Typically I'm drinking Bud Light. But I'm not really a fan of beer, it's just more economical for the pasture party scene I live around...

But when I feel like a decent beer I usually go out for Heineken, Shiner, or Fat Tire if I can find it...

It all tastes like piss to me though...

If you can find it, Celis Brewery beers are the bomb. They started out in Austin but got bought out by Miller and moved to Michigan (I believe). They make an awesome bock (Pale Bock). They also make a White beer that is very close to a hefeweizen. If you need something with a higher alcohol content, then go for Grand Cru.

Outside of that, some of the easier beers to drink that have been mentioned are Chamay (sounds gay but has a good alcohol content), and i'm thoroughly suprised packer didn't mention VB. wtf mate.

oh yeah, Fireman's 4 from Real Ale Brewery in Blanco, TX is also a great beer. They got Mr. Celis to come up with a recipie for them to make the Fireman's 4.

I've become a cider fan (Woodchuck Dark & Dry, Amber, and Pear to be precise), but for beer, I stick to Sam Adams, preference to the Oktoberfest limited run. Almost anything so dark it swallows the light I'll go for, though the less bitter, the better.
