It's such a shame that trance can be associated with such frilly, kitschy imagery now when it used to have a dark and industrial or spacey aesthetic.

A long time ago someone made a post charting trance's evolution as a move from "sci-fi" -- future-oriented, mechanical, technologically infatuated -- to "fantasy" -- nostalgia, bliss, unicorns, blah blah blah...

Well trance i dont know but id say L.A has an amazing EDM scene with Avalon and vanguard having top djs weekly and theres other clubs too which play aweseom music
