i've heard some real messed up stories of men being totally screwed over...men and women should be treated equally in the family courts..in many cases this does not happen..

He should have the right to stop paying, but cannot get his money back. He was the father, for those years while they were growing up.... Then the wife needs to persue child support from the real father....

Nobody is questioning that this was the right move for the kids, but they are upset about where the money comes from. It should come from the rightful father, not somebody who was tricked into fatherhood.

This is especially stupid because the mother is clearly trying to limit his ability to be a father, while saying he is monetarily responsible. So she has no problem with him being involved as long he is just a paycheck. She should not be able to have it both ways. If you want to raise the kids on your own, then do so, with all your own resources.

I know it would suck for the kids, but fuck that is life.
