Mine are all blocked as well.

Sometimes if you switch from http to https like someone mentioned, you'll be able to access it as it encrypts the URL, but certain sites will still be banned.

I just log in remotely to my computer at home either via a RDC or www.logmein.com

Log me in works great and I never have any issues with connecting to my home PC.

The only things I've noticed that are blocked at my work is youtube and anything ending in a .mp3.

They are pretty lax around here, even with what people can install on their PCs (ie: anything, not locked down). I think they are changing that soon though because there are starting to be a number of IT support issues cropping up that relate to random crap people have installed.
