thats because they are sampled from other peoples music.

Check out the sample magic dvds, there are some awesome original hits in those packs, especially "funky house grooves 2". seriously, they are some of the best one-shots i have heard by far.

Ive always used the Battery samples (and Synthetic Drums 1 & 2), but of course you need to own Battery.....
Tried the Vengeance stuff before but didnt really like them, good if ur into using loops i suppose?

why would you want to spend that kind of money buying sampled one-shots when you can just do it yourself for free and make a better job while you are at it? Seems very silly to me. Just recycling the same old sounds isn't a good thing imo.

Why can't all sample manufacturers be like sample magic. Pure creative, inspiring sounds produced from scratch with a sound quality that just rips vengeance to pieces.

yeah the drums overkill sample pack has the largest selection of closed hi hats and open hi hats and most of them are low filtered for that trancy percussion type sound not like in vengeance where you have to adjust the volume
