this may seem random but the one thing i hate about dvs and turntables is the inconsistent pitch, as the needle nears the center, the pitch goes up (or so i have been told). with cdj's its consistent. then again, nothing beats the feel of turntables (especially when mixing hip hop). good luck fixing your pitch fader.

That's the one thing i love about DVS.. Pitch lock.

It's like having the benefits of a cdj, but being able to still use turntables

True but don't forget there is more pitch resolution on turntables than on cdjs.
If you are good enough and have good working technics decks you can mash up records for a long time with out going out of synch.

Not true about pitch going up at all. The record is still spinning at the same speed whether the needle is at the outside or inside of the record. The only reason most people think turntables have an inconsistant pitch is because it in infinitely variable, meaning a lot of people can't actually get the pitches correct (i.e. they are not precise enough in their beatmatching ability). CDJ's are easier because you can only change the pitch by set increments and you have a digital display to remind you of where you are or by how much you need to change by if needed.

After a little googling I found the issue. The V302 potentiometer beside the pitch board needs to output 2.70 kOhms (factory setting)... before I calibrated it it was reading 3.22! Nearest I got it to output was 2.71 because the potentiometer was so sensitive. Anyways its perfect
Other then the quartz still coming on... there isn't a jump in pitch anymore.
