Uh, there are pc laptops. By that I mean Windows laptops. They will do anything you need to do just fine and most likely for cheaper. That is, of course, unless you are going to start producing in Logic.

The mac operating system isn't all that more intuitive, though a bit more stable. Other than that, and design preferences, you could go with a Windows-based laptop (aka a pc) and be just fine. Probably come out with a few hundred extra to spend on other gear or save.
