I've got a record contract and a publishing contract. Also, in Finland you pretty much can't transfer copyrights, you can't sell them.

Let's just say this as well: the collection of publishing $ doesn't seem to be the easiest task in US.

Not sure who you have doing your publishing but all I know is that you're sitting on a publishing gold mine. Having it played at football, basketball, baseball, hockey games, superbowl, retail outlet stores ... I don't even wanna think about what those checks amount to

If you're registered with ASCAP, it shouldn't be that hard - the united states is one of the most efficiently and comprehensively organized publishing royalty collecting countries I've come across. However, if you aren't proactive about it - then yes, you'll lose out on tonnes of money.

I took my little sister to an all ages at Guvvy when Darude was playing...

I must say that I enjoyed his set...

Although it was a bit too loud (not a full night), it was a fast hard set with good tunes...

I'd like to see him do a real party....

VDub, I remember that Guvernment gig... I wear 15dB plugs when I play, and still my ears were hurting all thru the set. I'm glad it wasn't my regular 2-3hr set, because I was afraid I'll bust my ears. I took the master down a little quite soon after I started, and someone came to crank it back up again... Trust me, I like my music loud, but that was a bit on the ridiculous side. I like Guvernment in general though and I don't mean to be negative, but that night was just too loud in my opinion.

mUSER, I'm not ASCAP-registered, I'm registered to a comparable organization in Finland, and eventhough there are agreements between different organizations in different countries it seems not having someone physically in a country creates a few extra bumps on the road.

I saw your gig at Summer Rush (The Docks) about 6 years ago. I was right in front, awesome! I figured it would be the last chance to see you here.

I was also at that gig. Great show.
WE LOVE BASS DRUM!

Love the crowd interaction.

Good take on the Flock of Seagulls with the I Ran as well.
